Ron Roach is the President of Contempora Fabrics. Having been at the company for almost 40 years, Ron has served in a variety of roles during his tenure, serving as the company’s President since 2013. Ron is passionate about giving back to the industry by education. He holds great regard for mentoring and inspiring future leaders in textiles. As a result of this passion, he has held the role of President of SEAMS, and served as a member of the AAPN Board of Directors where he helped originate the idea for the AAPN Carolina Mill Tour.
In 2019, Ron was named the UNC Pembroke Businessperson of the Year. Ron is a graduate of The Ohio State University’s Fisher College of Business and is die hard Buckeye to this day. Founded in 1972, Contempora is a 100% employee-owned circular knit manufacturer based in Lumberton, NC. Contempora serves a variety of markets with a focus on Team Sports, Performance, Corporate Identity, and Industrial end uses.
