As the Division President of Fibre52, a subsidiary of Energy Ogre, Laura is responsible for developing and executing the intellectual property and business strategy of a patent-pending cotton processing and dyeing technology that reduces environmental impact and enhances performance. With a history as a serial entrepreneur and more than two and a half decades of expertise in business innovation, startup management, and marketing strategy, Laura is dedicated to generating value for customers, partners, and stakeholders in dynamic and competitive markets. Her enthusiasm extends to industry game-changers, and she has swiftly become deeply engaged and knowledgeable in the textile sector, particularly in textile wet processing.
Prior to joining Fibre52, Laura served as the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Marketing Officer of Energy Ogre, a company that revolutionizes the way people buy electricity in deregulated markets. She oversaw the day-to-day operations, human resource management, business development, and marketing communications of the company, and contributed to its growth and recognition as one of the best places to work and fastest-growing companies in the country. During her career, Laura has also been a TV news anchor, built a nationwide blog network, built out affiliate networks and consulted for big brands including JCPenney, CVS and many more. But her proudest achievement is raising two children, a son who is an employed engineer and former professional baseball player and a daughter currently attending Texas Tech Univerity.
