Andrea Kennedy is Fashion Department Lead at Berkeley College. Her goal is to help fashion and footwear brands and suppliers reach their impact-reduction goals through sourcing lower-impact materials and supply chain partners. Previously, she held the role of sustainability consulting lead at Fashiondex.com, a company she founded. Andrea is passionate about education for sustainability and is an adjunct faculty member at LIM College teaching Advanced Sustainable Practices in Fashion. She has over 25 years of experience in fashion design, merchandising, sustainability planning, and responsible supply chain sourcing for high-profile apparel and retail brands. She holds a B.A. in Fashion Design from Parsons School of Design, a Master's in Education for Sustainability from Manhattanville College, and was a 2020/2021 Columbia University Zankel Fellow for Climate Change Education
